lefthanded MG74 MERCURY SERIES potentiometer
« on: October 15, 2013, 08:33:11 AM »
Hi guys!
I hope someone will be able to help me because I have searched high and low for an answer, but no success to this day...
I have a left-handed washburn MG74 mercury series and I would like to change the volume potentiometer (that crackles). But I can't find any information on what one to replace it with (reference/brand?)
Thanks for ANY help, because I am totally lost!
cheers Chloe from FRANCE  :-*

hi T.Y!
thanks for your answer! well..... shamless as I am to admit... no... the guitar is a 92/93 model I think so I just thought it'd be a "normal wear" and a necessary part to change... :)
I will definitely look into some electrical contact cleaner :) thanks for that tip :)

shameful me!  :-X

I buy used guitars and electronics off eBay a lot.  So I keep a can of spray on hand..  LOL..  Glad your guitar is working well.   Tom.  :)
