Can anybody tell me the model of my Washburn Bass Guitar?

Hello, i'm new to this website.
My uncle gave me his very old bass guitar that he used to play back in the day, and i'm trying to figure out if it has any worth or if i can get the model of it, thank you
the code on the back of the head is: 811764

Welcome. yes it has worth.  How much I do not know.  but almost all old guitars in good shape, still have resale value.  Tom.  :)

Looks like it is missing a knob, yes?  1981, 4 pots and 1 switch = it is a regular B-40 (1980-1983).  In really good shape you could get maybe $300-350 U.S. for it.  Good vintage bass, I'd keep it. B-40's NEVER had the model name on them.  Sometimes you see them with an erroneous SB-40 or SB-40EQ truss rod cover...but that is a factory error as the SB's (1981-1982) had a very different electronics package
