Sounds like a lot of money but it did include the hardshell case.

I wonder if he bought his own guitar back?  Tom.  :)  I would pay a crazy price for my metal peddle car, my metal Tonka toys, And my Mickey Mouse watch.  My neighbors girlfriend is a dope addict and stole my watch that I have had since I was three. :(

Crazy amount of money.  makes you wonder it the value will increase in later yrs.

The price is actually inline for what other "iconic" guitars are selling for.  Clapton's "Blackie" got close to a million when it sold at auction a few years ago.  Back in the late '90's when Brownie sold at auction it went for about a half a million.  Would likely bring near a million today.

May seem crazy, but it's what the market will bear.
