Washburn WD200s Acoustic
« on: January 18, 2014, 07:51:20 PM »
I just purchased a used WD200s - but I cannot find any information on this model.  The serial # is OO090507 - I'm attempting to find its age, history and potential value.  Any information you can provide would be great.  Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Shannmack!

Based on the info you provided, your guitar was probably built in 2009.  The model number would indicate that it is a version of the WD20S, which would be a solid spruce top and laminate rosewood back and sides, produced specifically for a large music retailer.  Value would depend mostly on what a recent WD20S is going for, but I'd guess probably around $150-200.   And as you'll see if you decide to spend any time here, pictures are always welcome and appreciated.

After some additional digging I have found some great information.  This guitar was specifically made for the Music Barn in Greensboro, NC.  It has some upgrades, and it originally was sold for $1000.  That is great news for me considering I only paid $75 for it - saweet!!
