Parallaxe PXS29 and set necks in general
« on: February 20, 2014, 05:00:29 PM »
I recently saw the 29 fret Parallaxe model and looked at the set neck choice Washburn has made for the non bolt on line of Parallaxe

Frankly....It disappoints me
When Washburn could have chosen a neck through approach like they did with the EC29 and EC36

I own a EC29 and I would buy another right now, I mean even after 25 years these guitars and the avantgarde way they were almost sculpted are still way ahead of....Yes....Even the upcoming Parallaxe PXS29 model

Washburn should really investigate and find the old blueprint back to making these shred monsters.

The set neck joints on the Parallaxe look good don't get me wrong, but it's nowhere near what the neck through joint on the George Washburn EC29 EC36 series was and still is

PS and where did you think that pointy headstock on the Parallaxe come from haha

Bring it back please
