Washburn A20V
« on: July 08, 2014, 03:01:19 PM »
This is what the cat dragged in today:
A vintage white A20V a friend from the Hamer Fan Club picked up for me (from an CL add) and sent it to Germany.
Plays fantastic, sounds great and was absolutely in tune (even after a trip over the pond). Love it. And the price was ridiculous low.

A beautiful example - congratulations on your acquisition! I have a number of A-Series reissues, they rank high in my solid-body guitar criteria... excellent weight/balance ratio, playing ease, craftsmanship and tonal characteristics.

Guitar players seem to be polarized about their visual aspects, but I've always been a big fan!

I dig the design and the shape. Nice pre-hairspray look.  :)
Next on the list: A20 nonreissue... 8)
