Can you help identify my Washburn Guitar?
« on: October 27, 2014, 09:30:53 PM »
Hello. I am def a newbie to forums, so please bare with me. I've had this guitar for about the last 10 or 15 years. Bought it used, and was taking guitar lessons with it many moons ago. I was never given any history on it, and admit I know nothing of guitars. I pulled it out recently and was asked if it is an 80's instigator.  Again, I had no clue as to what it is. It has mother of pearl inlays along the fret bar. Can you help me out any? I'd certainly love to know when and where it was made and an approx value. Thanks for your help and info!

well it is a 1987.. HM 20V. Reissues have sold for about $500.. Pricing for yours will depend on how badly someone wants a Washburn shredder guitar... Here was a question asked many years ago about nearly this exact guitar.. The OP said he had paid $800...

Just an FYI - the serial number of the guitar in the other post is 857191 (Which would be a 1985)

You can search about it in https://www.bajaao.com/collections/electric-guitars page. I hope you will find about it in that website. That website sells electric guitars and over there it is chance to find your guitar. If it is custom made, then it is hard to find. You can also visit shop who sells guitar, i am sure you will find an expert over there who tell you everything about your guitar. I am searching something about https://robotdon.com/grammar-check/ website and while searching about that, i have found your post.
