Need help with this old hand crafted Washburn
« on: November 18, 2014, 07:38:26 AM »
Hi

I have a vintage wooden sculpted Washburn guitar.
The serial number is 2082485.
Can anybody tell me more about it?

Is this a small size guitar? If so, perhaps it is a parlor guitar from the early 20th century.

Can you post some photos? Most of us use Photobucket to host our photos. Just copy the IMG code into your post and the photo will appear. Here's a post about how to display photos in your posts:

You may want to post this question in the Acoustic Guitar Players section....or the Vintage Washburn section. You'll probably get more traffic there.

Cheers!

Certainly not a parlor guitar.

You might get some info if you post in the electric guilar board...the "Dark Side" is quite active on this forum.

Cheers!

It may look bad to some, but if it were a bit more consistant, and not so rough at the gouged ends, it's much what I envision for mine. I'm goping to carve an old one, and I need parts. This may not be etiquette, but here's my message: http://forums.washburn.com/index.php/topic,24119.0.html
