Body material PXS10EDLXTBM
« on: March 07, 2015, 01:33:33 PM »
Hi all. I own PXS10EDLXTBM. It`s a great sounding guitar but I found a different specs about this axe. Has it mahogany or alder body? It sounds deep and bright (I replaced EMG`s to SD Sh-6 & Sh-2) and also its weight is low.
For example:

Sorry for my english ;)
Greetings from Poland!

Info in both links you provided say the body is alder.

Cheers!

Well, you'd sure think Washburn would know what wood they used in their production, so if it were me I'd believe Washburn's informtion rather than the information posted by a couple of shops trying to sell them.

For a definitive answer I'd probably suggest a PM or email to Washburn's Customer Service department...but I'd also guess they'll just look at the same information you've just posted and say it's 'hog, too.

Cheers!
