HB32 Intonation
« on: March 25, 2015, 07:44:27 AM »
Hi, I'm a newbie to Washburn, having bought my first Washburn, an HB32, last autumn.

I'm having trouble adjusting intonation on the G string - all the other strings have been adjusted fine.

I can get the G string tuned on open and reasonably OK at 12th fret but in between it is sharp.  The saddle on the bridge has been screwed back as far as I can go but the intonation is still noticeably out.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this - any help appreciated.

Thanks.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure your nut is cleanly cut for the G string.  It may be getting hung up there and that might throw your intonation off.
