Selling an old wing series
« on: June 02, 2015, 12:10:37 PM »

Just registered here as I am thinking of selling an old wing series.

How on earth do you get a price for one of these - whenever I offer it for trade in, shops just tell me that they've no idea what it's worth as there are none about and that they won't be able to sell it easily 'cos they don't have a "following". Then then usually offer me about 80 quid for it.

Trying to work out what model it is and based on this:
It appears to be somewhere between a Falcon A and a Hawk B. It's not got a bound headstock but it has got a brass nut and the jack is on the front of the body.

Think I've worked out that it's a late Series A Hawk from 1979. Although it has all cream pickups and surrounds. No black or zebra pickups.
