1999 or 2009 N2?
« on: June 13, 2015, 07:58:14 PM »
I have the opportunity to buy a N2 for pretty cheap. It is in good condition except one of the saddles on the bridge is broken but that is an easy fix. From the serial i  think it is a 99 but could also be 2009? What do the experts say?  ;)

should be a '99 I believe anything from 2000 + should start with a 0.....ie ....05 for 2005.

That would make it Made in Korea, right? The hardcase it came with at least has a Made in Korea tag :)

1997.

Lots of little variations over the years. There's one at MGR Online that's a little slimmer, & with nicer joinery, $190 + $50.

1999, its the first number to look at. The one you linked to is a '91 april. One of the original ones.

1997.

Wait... yeah, I think you're right -- Washburn #s are crazy.

Isn't the rule here that it's "first digit through 1999, first two after"? That "7" threw me.

That one at MGR looks like a '91, right?  That should have a 'real' Bill Lawerance in it...
