Identification Help
« on: January 19, 2016, 05:17:09 PM »
Hello!

I saw one of my favorite artists, The Album Leaf, playing a Washburn in a video the other day. This is it:

You get a clear shot of the headstock at the 5-6 second mark.  I have a feeling its probably from a rare / old series but I figured I'd ask the experts.  :D

I wonder...the rosette is quite decorative, indicating a higher-end product, and the crown head would seem to date it to the time period you mentioned...but the Washburn inlay on the headplate is more like the newer models...perhaps one of Washburn's higher end newer dreads, like a WD750SW?

I'll take a look on their website and come back and edit if I find it. I do own one of Washburn's all-solid wood dreads, a WD32SW, but right now I am 870 miles from it...so no way to photograph it, but I may have some photos on Photobucket if I can figure out how to copy an IMG code with this iPhone.

Cheers!!
