T-14NMK 4 string single soapbar.Was a five ever offered?
« on: January 31, 2016, 11:07:04 AM »
I have acquired a Taurus T-14 NMK single soarbar 4 string bass.
Natural Koa body.
No paint!

But I wonder.
Is this really a T-14.
The catalogs don't  refer to this version.
The SN is NV06082739

Also, was there ever a five string single soapbar version of this bass made?

I'm fair certain the "NM" stands for Natural Matte unpigmented transparent.

As the T-25 is the five-string sibling of the T-24, it'd make sense to have a T-15 as well, but there's precious little info. The few online mentions that turn up are almost entirely in Portuguese -- maybe a short-run Brazil-only model?? Here's two being sold used, apparently in Italy & Hungary.
