Made in USA stamp
« on: February 01, 2016, 08:14:36 AM »
Hi folks

Does this look correct for the reverse of an N4 headstock, ie the ‘Made in USA’ and ‘Serial No’.

The guitar was stained in a bid to look like a Padauk... I know... I know   :0)

Looks legit to me.The serial would indicate the your guitar was the 7th one built in December 2001.

Many thanks for your reply. All elements of the guitar line up... And it sounds absolutely amazing. Both acoustically and plugged in. I was always an Ibanez kind of guy but the quality and tones of this Washburn are phenomenal. Some say they are overpriced, I'm starting to think not. One other worry was the rear term cover is thinner. Look on most of the Paduaks. Plus it is made from a dimpled plastic while the other two rear plates are made of metal. I thought this a little strange.

Your welcome.I have never owned any N4's but if they are as good as the USA Dime models then they for sure would be top notch! If you want the other two plates in plastic to match your trem cover I think I have those that I would sell or I might have an extra metal trem cover.PM me if your interested
