Where have all the guitars gone?
« on: July 21, 2003, 12:25:34 PM »
Hi, im new here, but I'm guessing that many of you have visited the washburn website (it IS adjecent to this site) and i was wondering why they dont have the Tabu featured anywhere in thier site.  i know i should contact them instead of you, but this is more fun... kinda.  Well, do they just feature certain models or only expensive ones or what? they only started making the new tabu models like a year ago or less, and i can only find them from woodwind and brasswind but thats alright cuz i live in south bend so im ten minutes away from the place.  i just wonder why they dont have all their models up on the site.

oh well- PUNK ON![}:)]

Not all maodels get onto the site. The website is kind of a mystery for most guitar builders. Eventually they build a good site, but it takes them awhile to get it right....

Most people dont know the forums are even here. Eventually people will find out, and then more people will come. Ususally when a guitar company starts a forum, the wrong kinds of people join, and they eventually have to close it down. So, be careful of what you wish for..........Of course if the Jam Groups did shut down, an independant board would take its place..........

well i was looking through the GUITAR WORLD BUYERS GUIDE and i saw an Washburn ad that was about DIME and it said if you want to talk to the metal guitarist of the year or just hear from him, post your comments on www.washburn.com/jamgroups1

so maybe we'll be getting more people to come soon....

I imagine he is in fact reading it all. Whether he actually participates beyond a post or two will most likely depend entirely on the conduct of the people there........

it may also be the fact that this is the week end and a lot of the players are doing just that.  I would surmise that things get busier during the week when the musicians are resting at home.  If your topics are interesting, then folks will respond, just give them time.

what do I think about when i play?  Left finger, right finger, left finger, thumb...Doh!
