EA30 TS
« on: August 02, 2016, 01:32:34 AM »
Hey guys. New member here. Just getting back into playing.  I picked up beautiful EA30ts off Craigslist. I noticed it has 2 different serial numbers on it. The paper says 9101294. Just above that stamped in the wood is 9110109. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Why the 2 different numbers?

Generally, when acoustic guitars are assembled on a production line, they build a body onto a neck assembly. That is to say, the necks are built before the guitar is finished, hence two dates.

Serial numbers are NOT for future "collectibility," but quality-control tracking.
