Help me with my X81 please
« on: September 11, 2016, 12:14:14 PM »
Hello to everyone, I'm new to this forum and I write you from Italy (so excuse me for my poor english). I've owned my X81 for some years now and just a couple days ago I noticed that it's a bit different from the other ones I've seen. First of all it has a TOM bridge instead of the standard one, even if it's red the washburn logo is black instead of white and the last and most important thing the serial number says it was made in 2004, the year before they where made available for the public... may it be some kind of prototype? Thank you for your help!! Eros

Washburn does seem to have some oddities in their upper-end production guitars. Apologies that I don't have any information for you, but here's two photos I found online.
