the molded guitar case, item #: H86557000000000, from Musicians Friend fits the BT series nicely....
A vital find!! :) The Mavericks (particularly at the higher end) certainly deserve better than the usual generic one-size-fits-all-Strats case.

All of $80 delivered, & likely to go On Sale from time to time.

The BT-6 (v.2) appears available only 1998, & was available in MFB (metalflake black), GBL (Galactic Blue), & TWR (transparent wine red; never seen one but I'm guessing it's a sorta-SG finish on that mahogany body).

From the listing photos, I thought I was getting an MFB, but the blue becomes apparent in sunlight, & it's definitely tagged GBL. Here's the MFB from Mike Kimbro's Maverick page, & really does resemble the flake density of my GBL.
