Reverb problem with my mg44
« on: January 30, 2017, 08:26:14 AM »
When playing unplugged I'm getting a reverb sound from certain strings. When plugged into amp, I get reverb when middle pickup is selected on its own or with bridge or neck pickup.

Any ideas why this is happening?

not sure what is wrong but check all the ground wires and grounding...  if you own shielding paint.. i strongly recommend shielding the electronics cavity (the entire cavity) i unscrew the pots and let it hang partially out of guitar body (NOTE: i didn't unsolder the wiring) it is lazy method and a bit time consuming (i made sure the wiring didn't touch the newly painted body until it dried up.

Simple things first. Open up the back & damp the springs with a bit of foam or cloth.
