Hi Vince, not totally sure but I would say built 1985 kasuga plant Japan. Pretty sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but going by my oldies that date makes sense.

Correct info, 1985 Japanese made in Kasuga factory which was a secondary manufacturer during that time.
I have a G-5V and G-20V both from Kasuga and they are very well made.

Thanks guys, I know little about guitars and the info I saw was contradictory and only muddied the waters. Am aware that serial#'s can be misleading even if they seem straightforward. A musician said the wonderbar vibrato is something people seek. Are these hard to come by along with other original parts? Might like to find oem pickups. These are really sharp guitars, am surprised they're so inexpensive.
