Early 2000s EA-36 wiring diagram?
« on: June 28, 2017, 06:03:30 PM »
Hi - Not sure if this is the right forum, but I don't know a lot about Washburns. I have an EA 36 my brother gave me years ago -- I had forgotten about it for years. A neighbour who tinkers with guitars has it back to nearly 100% but we can't any signal from the 1/4 inch or the XLR. Can't find a wiring diagram anywhere on the net, and when I called Washburn, they said they don't have info from before they were bought out.

Anyone have ideas where I might find it? Or, any chance you have a manual or sketch that would guide us?

Thanks -- sorry if this should go in another forum.

That dual system requires a "dummy" jack in the 1/4" side for the XLR to work.  So, you might try plugging in s 1/4 inch cable and then see if you get a signal from the xlr.  If that's the case then you likely just have a short or break in the 1/4" side.
