Sup!
« on: August 12, 2017, 11:51:03 AM »
Haven't been by in awhile.  Thought I'd check in and see how everyone is doing.  Still playing our Washies, although our house got robbed a few years back and they did snag a few of them.  Hope everyone is doing well.

I was just at Pearl at the first of this month. It was the 20th Anniversary and the Texas state banjo championship competition.

Lots of changing faces, but you should see J. P...21 years old and married.

It's always a good time, but these competitions cut down on the jam groups so most of the activity is in the auditorium.

Yeah, still buying Washburns...two this summer alone.

Cheers, amigo!!

Shiner, good to see you're still around. There's been little action around here since you and some of the others dropped away. I'm glad to see you still have your tractor and riding in good style.  murph

Glad to see some of the old guys are still around!  That's right Murph and Dugly, I called you old.  And that's a beautiful guitar Maple. In the olden days we would have wanted to see it on a comfy couch, but your scene looks much nicer.

Hey Ho Shiner.  Nice to see you check in.  Not been around myself in a while.  Hope you and CB are well.

Shiner! Bock! Bock! Bock!

Using the D10SCE right now in double drop D for Cinnamon Girl. Honestly, though, Taylor 110 has become my main acoustic squeeze and I just bought into the Fender world with a 2011 MIM HSS Strat and a new laquered tweed Blues Jr. That Blues Jr. is a real sweetie - love it! My WI45 doesn't like the new amp as much as my old Univox LP copy does. Might be selling the WI45 (if my daughter doesn't get it for free).

Good to hear from you.
