Washburn Chicago USA - PB
« on: April 24, 2018, 05:13:31 PM »
Hello!
I have Bass Chicago USA, typical PB. Is awesome. The serial number is SS0211145. Unfortunately, I could not find any information about this instrument. Can someone point me to the catalog in which this bass guitar will perform?

Washburn serial numbers are not 100% reliable for dating, but if common wisdom holds up, yours was shipped in 2002.

Since the demise of VintageWashburn.com, we're left with the sparse Washburn archives. (http://www.washburn.com/media/catalogs/) The closest I can get is the 2001, in which the only P-style model is XB-100 "value priced basses."
M1SDL; XB-400 (natural), XB-400 (burg), XB-500 (teal); X-10, X-33; D46CESP, WCSD30SCE; BT-3, BT-4, BT-6, JB-80; WS-4; WI-66V; Lyon LCT24; OS Autoharps

My bass guitar looks exactly like Fendef PB. It's not just a pickup system.
