If any of you cats dig Rockabilly and honky-tonk, my friends Scott Kay and the Continentals are playing Saturday, the 12th at 10pm at the Stagger Inn Again in Edwardsville IL.
I believe that is in the Midwest ain't it?
See Ya,

I saw Scott Kay and The Continentals in Kansas City not too awful long ago.  I've been listening to Rockabilly and early country all my life.  Nothing after 1960.  It all sucks after then.  I play traditional honky-tonk, country & western, jazz, and a little rockabilly myself.  None of that heavy iron music for me.
The days of iron men, and wooden ships.

Love this kind of music - rockabilly, roots, texas swing.... I'm a recent transplant to north Chicagoland and will be looking for opportunities to join/form a band (or just jam with like-minded musicians) later this Spring or summer. I am a DRUMMER. All my drums are currently on the East Coast, but they should arrive here in a few months.

Please let me know of any opportunities, or even clubs where I can catch this kind of music.
