I'm worried about all the things that I am hearing about the company. dumping bad units on the market can only hurt you and the rep that took so long to build.what do you think. I own three 1 mando, 1 nylon and 1 steel string...

Well, I am not as concerned as Washburn management should/might be.  the latest Holiday 2006 Guitar Buyers Guide gave quite a bit of time and words to Fender strats and PRS and others, while the Washburn X50 Pro barely got a mention.  I also think W puts out some good quality acoustics, but again, no mention.
And of course, you see everyone wearing a Washburn sweatshirt, right?

mebbee there is an opening in the marketing department...
Best Wishes, Western

Fender and PRS have nothing on the US customshop. My PRS is a fine guitar, but its build quality is no better than a US made Washburn. I'm still confused at how PRS are regarded so highly. Yes, they make a great guitar, but so does everybody else...............

PRS is regarded so highly due to their marketing and Public Relations PR...

If Washburn advertised through t-shirts and other parafinelia... they would get the respect they deserve...

I know I am disapointed when I cant find a frickin hat or t-shirt... Like come on even s**ty guitars have t-shirts..

So I hope the get on the ball soon....
