D 10M
« on: December 23, 2005, 08:07:59 PM »
Guys, I just picked up a used Washburn model D 10M tonight for my 26 yr old son who is wanting to learn how to play. This guitar sounds and plays great. The question is, does anyone know when the D 10M was made or the approximate age of the guitar? It is a plan Jane instrument, but is in near mint shape and as I said, sounds very nice. Any info that you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks!
Peace...

First digits of the serial number should tell the year.............

I have aquired a Washburn D10M This was given to me by a friend, it was found in their attic. Neck appears straight a little scrached up on the head stock and binding, rusted strings but otherwise seems fine. The serial number is 93020316D.S. Am I correct to assume this Instrument was manufactured in 1993?

Thank you
