Hmm.. somebody scored for $6.74. It's a little weird that they claim that to be a Washburn though.  Maybe it's like a rolex that you buy in mexico for $40.

Ebay is filled with fake auction coming from China. Check out this laziness:

I guess their leaders have told the Chinesse people that we are all stoopid and will actually send them money because we can be easily outsmarted. End Communication...............

WOW!  Good catch, Accept!

I have noticed a lot of auctions from China recently, but I generally stay away from anything with foreign shipping, so I hadn't even looked at them.

Yea, I saw them copy an ad for an Ibanez jem777dy a couple of months ago. crooks!  I love how they state in the Charvel ad that it is only western union money transfer. the sooner you pay the sooner I can recieve the item or something like that.  Don't ever fall for those bogus second chance offers either!!!!  Same BS

That's your loss, then. There is some good stuff coming out of China.

But I wouldn't buy anything directly from China , either. Chinese vendors on eBay... I've seen a lot of auctions where one could tell from the pics alone that they were pushing absolute crap.

And it believe it or not I can go on for hours posting even more fakes,G just have not been able to find the site where they had fake Washburns, electric and acoustics, they are all over the net and they where all over E-Bay also, but they are really cracking down on them, as the real manafactures go after E-Bay for allowing them to flog obvious fakes,so much for free Enterprise, hey guys.Ship

You know what i think the saddest part about all this is? Its not the fact that these people are selling garbage with a nametag, nor the fact that theyre getting away with it...its the fact that theres people out there who will still buy it...THATS the tragedy

Well, I was very happy with my first guitar, I thought Ritchie Blackmore was playing the same one when in Rainbow... Later I realized that he was prolly NOT playing a cheap Marina FL-1, buttugly Strat-copy with crooked neck, uneven and misplaced frets and 3kOhm pups... But you don't know until you learn. Now I know some of the signs that a $150 Gibson Les Paul Custom is not actually a Gibby - nor playable for that matter, but if us with knowledge and wisdom don't take the hands of the little ones and guide them through the treachures world of eBay they will have to learn the hard way... as many of us did... Or not learn at all... as many of us haven't...

You know I've probably said it before but I'm really angry with China. Not only do we have to deal with all these safety issues with products coming out of there but the sheer dishonesty of the fakes that come out of there too. It's one thing to make a cheap product and peddle it, it's quite another to make a cheap product and try and pass it off as something more expensive.

So for the most part if I can help it I try my best not to support the Chinese economy. Do honest business with me and you have a customer, try and rip me off and you have an enemy!

I had one Chinese made guitar, BC Rich Dagger, crap pickups and electronic, less than
impressive build quality, sold it for half the price I bought it for for, no way in hell
I'm buying another chinese made guitar.
