Washburn B18 5-string banjo
« on: December 20, 2003, 12:56:10 PM »
Does anyone have any info on this 1977 banjo such as:
1. tone ring style (I know the B21 has a ball-bearing tone ring)
2. number of ply for the shell (the B21 has 3, but the newer B16 has 8 or more)
3. general quality (the B21 had intonation problems at frets 9 & 10)
4. approximate value when new (1977), and now
5. anything else.
Please email me (banjorw@yahoo.ca) as I may not get a chance to check this site often.
Thanks for any help.
