Purchasing a new banjo
« on: January 03, 2004, 04:59:32 PM »
Hey out there in cyber land,
I am considering the purchase of a Washburn B16 banjo.  I am a beginner and money is an object.  I have searched the internet for the best price and a company by the name of Pro Audio Music.com beats everyone by $200.00.  This is a good thing but all of the other companies I looked at are about $50.00 in difference.  Has anoyone out there ever done business with this company, and if so with what results.  Also if your have a B16 what do you think of it for a beginner.
Thanks for your help,
Tom D.

I would suggest a trip over to www.banjohangout.org, Over 8000 pickers and lots of reviews and free advice!  You'll be glad you did.
