WI66PRO specs
« on: June 17, 2006, 04:28:02 PM »
Can anyone tell me for the WI66PRO:
1. the scale lenght?
2. the weight?
3. the neck thickness in inches or mm at fret 1 and fret 12?
4. the string gauge on a new model? (I'm suprised this info
isn't on the web site as I've read with Buzz Feiten it's not
so easy to change string gauge)
5. speaking of Buzz Feiten, can a garden-variety luthier do
a setup or must the guitar go to a Buzz Feiten trained luthier?
Any other info or comments about the WI66PRO would be appreciated, too.
Thanks!

Hi There
i maybe alble to help with some of this, now that ive got my i64 sounding like it should, thanks to those who replied to my question.

The Gauge of strings shouldn't make any huge difference as far as the Buzz Feinten goes, i read that you won't get the full benifit but your guitar won't sound bad because of it, are you going to be changing guages often ?, i tend to stick with the same, unless some emergency arises, maybe choose the strings you use at time of purchase and get the dealer to set it up, for those strings and guage
As for the garden variety Luthier, One of those garden variety, sent my Ibanez accustic back with a puttied up pot hole in the fretboard, question them for their knowledge and experience, make sure they're insured, and don't hand your money over until you are sure theyve done what you asked
I think i read in an earlier thread some of the questions you ask about the 66pro, and also Jberry added a website in my thread as to setting up your Guitar,
