For Sale: J28SCEDLM
« on: June 28, 2006, 01:41:22 PM »
I am selling my J28SCEDLM, with the HSC for $400 + shipping.  I am not transferring the woes that I got with it.  The guitar plays and sounds beautifully, I just got it out of the shop and she's all setup and sweet, but my wife wants to go to Disney this year for our vacation, so I'm going to be selling a few of my guitars.  Since the Jumbo is the only Washburn in the pack, I figure I'll offer it here first.

It's a 2001 J28SCEDLM Cumberland, Equis Chorus preamp, Buzz Feiten Tuning System, Vine of Life inlays on the neck, abalone and mother of pearl all over the place, no pick guard, solid cedar top, quilted maple sides and back, maple neck & headstock, lo-z and hi-z output jacks.  What am I doing listing the specs?  You guys know just as much about these beauties as I do.

Anyway, y'all know the story.  I paid $490 for this guitar which was too much.  Then I paid $100 to have it repaired (good thing I'm a regular), and it's only been out of the shop a few weeks, and it reaaalllly plays very nicely.  But you know how it is with guitars, of all the guitars I own (7 Washburns), this one is probably the one that I am the least connected to.

It's a beautiful guitar, and will be a great addition to the right person.

Thanks... I'm going to list it for $425 on eBay, or at least give it a reserve.  I wanted to give the folks here first shot and a deal before I listed it though.  You know, keep it in the family so to speak. [:D]

OR...

Get drake to sign it while his manager holds a gun to his head.

Buy this guitar or pretty-boy here gets it!

Ooops, the thought of backfire just crossed my mind.

Better to hold a hair brush to Drake's head instead!!

[:D]

Drake knows I'm only raggin him 'cause he's my hero!

It's only money, and while I love my guitars... I love Gwen even more! I have a 6 year old little boy that is excited about going too.  I'll buy another one later, even nicer.

With kids it becomes understandable, entirely different light. I expect my wife to take me as I am, but I'll do anything for my children.

i think i am the guy who bought that there geetaar above!! on ebay!! im just waiting for it to be delievered. either that or its one mad coinsidense!!

never had a washburn before, but i really respect Dimebag Darrell, and he chose to go with Washburn after being a Dean only man for years, i hear they make serious quality run through even the bottom of the range, so i cant wait to get a go on this beauty.

if anyone wants to hear me playing some electric or acoustic, visit these free sites for free music, no strings, no bull, just good free music for everybody!!
