Need to identify bass
« on: January 31, 2004, 07:37:01 PM »
I have a washburn bass that I'm trying to figure out what it is, how old it is, how much it was sold for, blah blah blah. I know nothing about guitars, it's just something I kinda ended up with and was wanting info on it. I tried searching for info but came up with nothing. It's a 4-string washburn electric bass, the tag on the head says b-2. The only thing I came up with on the search for a b-2 was an acoustic bass, and that's way off. Anyone help me out?

The B2 designation has been used on a few different model lines. It was used for the beginner models of those lines. Your serial number should tell you what year it is...........

Switch,

Can you give some more info like pick up configuraton, body shape, control knobs, active or passive?  We might have better luck.  Even a picture if you can get one posted.

what do I think about when i play?  Left finger, right finger, left finger, thumb...Doh!

let me know how to post pics on here and I'll put one up. I would tell ya all that configuration stuff, but like I said i know nothing about guitars. I do custom paint and was gonna paint it, but I don't wanna do that if it's gonna screw up the value of the instrument.
