N2 vs N1
« on: February 19, 2003, 06:10:38 AM »
What are the main differences to look for when I am trying to figure out between amd N2 and the N1? The things I have figured out are the volume knob (black plastic on N1, metal on N2), Tremolo (some cheesy kind on the N1, Floyd-licensed 600-S on the N2), and color (N1 seems to come in different color like cream or green, N2 is natural or blood red) I have been looking to buy on ebay but want to make I know the difference, Thanks.

you are right on the money

there is a entry level nuno *mayhaps the n1 but i thought it was the n2* that has 22 frets a six screw fulcrem and 2 washburn humbuckers (it went for about 200 bucks)

then there is a mid level one with a floyd rose (it went for about 600 bucks)
and then there is the n4 with nuno's favorite pickups and 600s floyd rose
(goes for about a grand or so)

i forget all the details  i love the guitar but its not my favorite washburn model

nuno kicks arse though

The n1 and n2 are the same guitar except for the bridge. The n4 on the other is usa made, stephens extended cutaway, schaller floyd, bill lawrence bridge pickup,sd 59 in neck, and they have different wood choices.(especially the older ones)

It's not entirely true, I think.
The N2 also have the Bill Lawrence in it. At least the older ones, I think.
Mine has a Bill Lawrence in it, and it's great!!!
