How many pickups?  I tell ya... you need to ask ACCEPT2.  He's a wiz with electrics.  It sounds like an X-10, but it's hare to be sure.  I think that the X-50 is neck-thru.  Are the pickups Seymour Duncan?

The serial number will tell you a lot.  Sammick guitar factory in Indonesia (SI).  The first 1 or 2 numbers indicate the year of manufacture, so without knowing the condition of the guitar, or it's history, my first inclination would be to say it was a 2004.  If it's obviously older, a 94... but I am not sure about Washburn using the Indonesian plant that long ago.  Could be...

I called washburn about my acoustic and they were unable to provide information about it.  So I'd say the reason they don't do this is that they don't have the information readily available.  ... though I don't understand that either.

I have been doing research on serial numbers and I suspect import guitars that have four and six digit serials are MIJ, seven digit serials are MIK and eight or more digits MIC or MII. This is purely speculation my part but it is what my research indicates. As for the factory that built the guitar it is mystery on the older Washburn's and some of the newer ones.

If anyone has evidence that contradicts my serial number theory please so state and present such evidence.
