I have a guitar with a serial number of 283931 (and a beautiful tone, BTW). I attached a couple of pictures. It's hard to get a good clear picture of the label. Can anybody tell me anything about the history of this type of guitar? My dad told me they can't verify the serial number because a lot of records were destroyed during the depression. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm new in washburn products.
I just bought a apparently old, cheap 4string bass washburn xb-200 bantam series with s/n S93111445. 3 volume knobs and 3 way pickup selector.
can't find any information about it on the internet.

So anyone here can help me and tell me something about it?
Thanks!

i recently got a George Washburn Festval model: EA20 B  with serial number: 902314

I am guessing it is 90's and made in Korea... at least im hoping its Korean...  I think quality of Japan made is top notch, and rated number 1 followed by Korean made guitars.

Washburn Equis II (EQ300)

so far i dont see any lettering on the wood by the trus rod.  so not quite sure if my guess on country of origin is correct...  Can anyone confirm or correct me...  thanks to everyone who helps in dating and country of origin.

Hi Sarah,

I'm not very familiar with Washburn electrics but is your guitar similar to this one - as seen on eBAY ad http://www.ebay.com/itm/Washburn-X-Series-Pro-Electric-Guitar-Blue-/320875250653?pt=Guitar&hash=item4ab5a7c3dd  Usually necks are maple with maple fretboard or rosewood fretboard.  ebony fretboard is expensive so are on more expensive stratocasters...  i own a couple Fender Strats and 2 Squiers MiK and MiJ.

your S/N: 0C02070967
0C - China
02 - 2002 year

I did a little research in this forum and they say the Washburn customer support will provide information on your guitar, product dating etc.
read here - http://www.washburn.com/about/faq.php#electronics

look for  -->  OLDER MODELS NOT IN CURRENT PRODUCTION   -  What is my instrument, and what is it worth?  within the answer they provide link to write to WASHBURN CUSTOMER SUPPORT  us here

write to guitar.support@usmusiccorp.com

hope you get your answer.

Hi, new here but can someone please help me properly identify this guitar. I'm guessing an N4 of some sort due to the Stephens extended cutaway but if anyone knows better then please jump in. Serial is #0302059 & made in USA. Thanks in advance.
