How does the Buzz Feiten tuning system work?

It changes how the strings are tuned in relation to eachother.

Mechanically, the nut is set just slightly forward, while the intonation set on the bridge is done a bit 'off' according to the Buzz Feiten formula.  The result is a guitar that's tuned more 'to the ear' than with mathematical precision.

Once a guitar is set up this way by a Feiten techie, you can tune it the regular way, and when you play chords they will sound more harmonious, particularly up the neck, where regular tuned guitars often start to sound dissonant.

Not everyone thinks it's worth it, but I do, and so do many others.

Having said that, how about a free retrofit on my Parker, Buzz?  :o)
