Oh yeah, except I am having trouble with her latley Yan she is going to the hospital to have her intonation set properly, she is running flat at the 3 fret and a tad sharp at the 12,so I am going to have the angle of the saddle re-set at a slightly lower setting,we are going to try her at a 42% instead of the 46% she is now,but just so you know I have been eyeing the J58SW.as of late I am just not crazy about having to wait for 3 months for one to be made and shipped to Canada and then shipped to the West Coast.louis...PS... but she does sound like the next one to come home to me,not that any girl can take Blondies place in my life.louis[8D][;)]

Definately the Pilsen, but it'll be a while until I have Pilsen money saved up.  Funny, though, Pilsen is/was one of the lowest income neighborhoods in Chicago.  I hope it trickles down!

but I would probably want one of those sweet old solid wood guits that Pike seems to be so good at locating.

Yup, and I've got a nice old early '70's Washburn Beckmen 12er on the way right now.

Great question!! I have no idea!?!
I want to learn more about them, my d12 was the perfect beginner guitar, much much better than I would have ever had the brains to pick out for myself, and has kept me going all this time, but he needs more friends ;)
I'll be reading this thread with interest for ideas :)

Pike, after the first of the year I'm going to enlist your help. I really do want one of the sweet old ones. BUT, a lot of you guys who are self employed probably understand this. For some reason, people don't want to get divorced around Christmas. Go figure. So this is my slow time of the year, when I plan my vacations. Come February, when things pick back up, I plan on satisfying my GAS and finding something sweet, and I would really appreciate your help and suggestions!
Hmmm..... I can get you a brand spanking new Martin D18 w/ case and warranty for $1500 plus shipping. Want that? Be quick, it'll be gone by Friday. If I wasn't looking hard at one of the new Tacoma Guild D40's, I'd grab it.
