Right now I am the lead guitarist for the praise team in a 6500+ member Mega church in Birmingham Alabama. Here is the Church website http://www.cathedral-cross.org/#.I'm the guy in the welcome video playing the Red Carvin DC135. Here is a link to my Soundclick site of live recordings of our P/W recorded with my Mini Disk Walkman and a pair of condensor mics set up at the soundbooth http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=439224.
We run about 4000 or so on a good Sunday morning and the crowd is LOUD!! I run a late 80's Carvin X100B 100 Watt head and a Yamaha 4/12 as my on stage monotor.
I was the lead player for a guy named David Jones who goes by the name Nashville Jones and Kountry Mile. Last year we had the #1 song on the Powersource Christian Country Charts and knocked off Cary Underwoods Jesus Take the Wheel. I left the band to run for the Alabama State House this November but lost. Right now David and I are talking about me coming back so??
Back in the late 80's- mid 90's I wrote and played guitar for a White Metal band called Ascension here are a couple of those clips http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=261302&songID=1815167http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=261302&songID=2684714

I play acoustic guitar (most of the time) for the praise band at our church.  We do 8-10 songs each week.  In my youth, I was with a band that had a very similar sound to CSN called Springwood Bridge.  We recorded one album (before the days of CD's), and had poor management, poor promotion, and it never amounted to anything.
