Anybody in SW Georgia???
« on: December 07, 2006, 12:08:03 PM »
Is there anybody in SW Georgia? Or, maybe SE Alabama (Dothan area)? Just wondering if I'm the only Washburn fan in this area.

I'm still curious to know if there's ANYBODY around Southwest Georgia, Southeast Alabama, Northwest Florida who digs guitars in general and Washburns in particular.

So far, Ascension is the closest, but 235 miles is a bit far for getting together for some jamming. Unless of course, it's a fairly large get together like the WAGJAM07 the acoustic crew is planning for Vegas.

In fact, Ascension has already mentioned an event or regional jam session of some type. Is there anybody who might be interested? I'm an electric player, mostly Southern and Classic Rock, but why limit it to electric only? I think it'd have better turnout if everyone was invited - electric and acoustic, rock and country, AM and FM (weak attempt at humor)...

What do you think guys and gals?

Hello, I am from SE Georgia. I just bought a new Washburn and have been playing for a few years. I am mainly acoustic. I live by the Okefenokee.

I live in Geneva, AL. about 35 miles west of Dothan. I just got my 1st Washburn, a D10SCEN and I have a '96 Alvarez Yairi Signature DY61. I play a little country, and 50's - 60's stuff and some worship. Mostly rythym. I just picked the guitar up again after my wife had to have a triple by-pass and I retired to take care of her. I'm not very good, but I'd love to meet with you sometime maybe we can hussle up a jam session. Check out my new website:  http://www.wix.com/JonBouye/AcousticJams

just bought my first Washburn, a WINDLXFBB and so far I love it!
The 3 way switch is set up weird and cheap feeling but other than that the fit and finish is good.
I did a search and didnt see much on here about it, anyone else have one?

I am in north Florida
