I recently purchased (very cheap) a Washburn M-1S at a local fleamarket. The serialnumber is 20010558 so I assume it was made in 2001.
While checking out the Washburn website I found that my mandolin differs from the one shown on that site; in addition to the regular Washburn Logo, mine features a mother of pearl inlay French Lilly (Fleur de Lis).
Can anybody (KEEF?)explain the reason for this addition?
