There have been a lot of new faces on the board lately and some might not know about WAGJam.  We're getting together in Vegas for a few days to see how much noise we can make with our Washburns!  Everyone's welcome and as time is running out, it would be great for some of you new and not-so-new members to sign up.

All it takes is a lousy, measly $100 to reserve your spot. Total cost will be more than that, but we need a good headcount in order to figure it out.  The more who come, the lower the cost.

Here's a link to my site where you can find some details, and an easy way to sign up.  Deposits can be made with cash, checks, credit cards, paypal, wampum, you name it.  Heck, we'll even take Canadian dollars if you have enough of 'em [:)]

See you in Vegas!

Hey, wish you could make it too brother.  But hopefully this will be the first of many to come.  Less than 30 days and we'll be enjoying a little down time with good friends and good music (except for when I'm playing . . . um . . . on the good music part[B)]).

Shiner,Shiner when will you ever learn, its easy making good music its tough to relax when you are having to much fun.Dr.Ship recommends at least 3 beers in the morning followed by some guitar playing, and then take 2 beers after lunch and play some more playing and then you will need a mid-afternoon snack of at least 1 beer, with 5 beers right after dinner, and then we will need to take you into town and do a little gambling and sight seeing, sorry I dont do topless dancers, but I will recommend some more guitar playing and then a nice leisurely run in the morning to help burn off some of those calories, dang just over 3 weeks to go my brain is a racing with excitment, common guys beg, borrow or steal to get there its going to be fun and the more the merrier,Dave thats $1.1860 for every US dollar, but hey whos counting,I need a vacation, got to get away, and hey guys I get to play with everybody else's girls.louis[:p]

Not unless someone has a bigger gun than mine!

I'm bringing a bib for ya so we don't have to worry about excess humidity, louis.
Sounds like a great plan, but leave my lazy butt out of the running part.

It's almost that tiiiiime...

Get out to WAGjam-Vegas for a few days!! We've still got some room left, but so far we've got a great crew attending.

And don't let lack of $$ get in your way! Just email me or Toaster if your tax bill was a bit larger than you expected and we'll get you in!

Some great shows in Vegas the week of the 19-21... not to mention getting to party with your fellow WASHBURN FANATICS!!

Bring a guitar and we'll see you there!!

Hey Squint, my tax bill was larger than expected.[:D]  Ah hell, who am I kidding, I won't pay my taxes till October (thank God for automatic extensions!).

I still need to find one more shipping box, but here's the short list:

I'm bringing my D10S and my D46S12, Child bride is bringing her Augusta and Storm (J28S12DL her Cumberland 12 string) and Baby girl will be bringing her D46S.

If we can find it, the Shiner Bock is on me (literally and figuratively) and don't forget Child bride will be making her world famous chili one night.  Between that and Ed Roman's we're going to have more gas then we know what to do with![:D]

I can't wait to hear two Cumberland 12s doing their thing! That will be awesome!

I've also worked up some easy chord arrangements for some of our best songs that I'll be teaching everyone, and free CDs to boot!

It's gonna be fun.

Shiner are you saying that I should also bring the tums for the tummy, are you bringing some hot habenero's for us to chew on while playing and waiting for the chilli.Sorry guys its a real pain in the butt to take a guitar across unless I am working down there, its a lot easier to have the Management fill in documentation for the work permits and gear,so I hope you dont mind me borrowing one or two or three for the night ,I can't wait, the excitment is bubbling over in our house, wifes happy she gets the bed to her self, daughters happy cause dads not going to wake her up esarly to clean her stuff up( little does she know I have bribed the wife, hee hee) and me well I get to meet some great new friends and play music, what more can a man ask for.louis

Whoops, did again.  Accidentally posted as Childbride, here ya go.

Ship,

For some reason I sincerely doubt we're going to have a shortage of beautiful guitars waiting to be played. Believe me, I've tried to play more than one guitar at a time, and it's really, really, really hard. In case you didn't notice, really is the word of the day.

And yeah, that whole customs thing can be a real b***h. When I took Childbride to the island, the only thing they inspected was the guitar. I guess that whole Johnny Cash thing has made them suspicious of folks who take their guits across the border.

Childbride the only think I will spill on her is maybe some drool,as for big Toruble ,well lets just say once upon a time that was my middle name, and Squinty you know I'll gladly test drive your little women also while getting a sun tan at the smae time, who could ask for more, life is wonderful, counting the minutes away,as for Ed Romans Guitar Emporium, wife has suggested VERY STRONGLY that I should probably pass on going there, have far to much room on the credit cards to be safe in there and I am considering going back to the Dark Side of Music and I may be in need of a few electrics, been drooling over a friends Telee that he is thinking of selling to me, he bought my Strats,so he said I would get first dibs on the Telee.Anyway I best leave now the excitment is building to great heights.say good night louis, good night louis.louis
PS Shiner I have played two guitars at the almost same time, used a guitar stand to hold an acoustic while having my Start on at the same time to get the sound required[:D][}:)]but it can be a pain in the, well you know where.
