Might be some Nosebleed seats to this must-see show.

My wife & I will be in the first-row balcony at 7 on the 19th. We'll be doing our annual wedding anniversary contribution to the Nevada Economy. And heading home early the next morning.

Wings,
A.  You mean we're going to miss you by a few hours??
B.  I heard about that show.  That was the catalyst behind all the Beatles remixes on the Love album. That's gonna be great!  Thanks for the tip.

Happy anniversary to you and Mrs. Wings.  (aka Wingsmom?)

Toast,
Yeah, thanks, and 'Wingsmom' is precisely appropriate. Uncanny you should go there. Sometime, I'll explain all that.

Having just landed the new job, we'll be lucky just to get away from it all for 2 nights. A short 200 mile drive from Sin City. We'll probably get up there around 9-10 Friday nite, play all nite, head for 'breakfast' around 3-4 Sat. afternoon, and to the show. But Sunday traffic back to California down the I-15 can be so rugged that a normal 2-3 hour drive often turns into 6-8 hours if you split Vegas after 10-11am. I clock-in to work Monday at 7:30am.

Yep, that's the show. The Love album is basically the soundtrack. The show is in the former Siegfried & Roy theatre at the Mirage. There's a Beatles themed nightclub called 'Revolution' there, too. Any of you WagJammers digging the Beatles ought to at least dip in one night for that if you can't get show tix. I got ours 2 months ago calling the box office; online showed best seats were last row balcony.  I think the show is dark Tuesday-Wednesday?

Ed, how did I miss that post.  She's beautiful.  How did you get the guitar shape in the middle?

Thanks for the nice words.  A few years ago I became very interested in learning how to do unusual shapes and patterns with dyes.  I learned how to fold, stitch, and twist fabric to yield various shapes and patterns.  Admittedly, it's an odd thing to be interested in, but it works for me.

I can't figure out how to post pictures here, but if you follow the link you can see what a tapestry for a Deadhead convention might look like:

fitz- I dont mean to compromise the value of your art, but is there any chance that you might make more copies? I hate making copies, myself. its kinda. fake. but still. that is gorgeous! Id probably hang one in every room of the house

John - I don't really think of it as art; if it was, I couldn't do it.  My email is in my profile.

The Shiner family will be rolling into Vegas at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday May 20, via Buick boat.  Squint, I think I'm going to mail the guits via USPS priority mail on Friday the 18th, I think that should put them there sometime on Monday.  Toaster, does that sound right or should I wait to Saturday to ship them out?

I don't think USPS priority mail delivers on Saturday and they certainly don't deliver on Sunday.

BG drives in on the 19th and we fly in on the 20th.

Toaster, is Shiner's timeline right or do we need to mail the gits earlier?

and my husband is scaring me.  he's talking to me about vulcan physiology.  this trekky thing is way too weird.  [:D][:D][:D] he's actually referring to episode numbers.  [:0]
