Title: Bought a WV40...need help
Post by: ArnoldMirros on November 05, 2009, 04:53:47 AM
It seems to have Egnater pickups in it rather than the Randall pickups that were in the item description...but these things are actually giving me the gritty distortion and great note definition I was looking for, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything about these pickups, like name, if they're available aftermarket, etc.

Love the guitar!!!

The Egniter pups were made by Randall in 2006-2011. They are a VERY hot pup and you can only get them on the Washburn Heavy Metal series of guitars like the Renegade, Vindicator, ect. I tried to buy some from Randall but they nor Washburn sell them aftermarket. They, being Washburn, will replace them for free provided you have filled out "The Card" and sent it in to them for a warranty.
