General Discussion on Washburn Electric Guitars / 1978 Washburn Wing ?
« on: October 27, 2010, 11:37:53 AM »
Hi I have a question about a old washburn. It starts out in 1978 when my uncle bought this washburn at seattle guitar center. By all the research that I have done is that it is a hawk. But the thing that bothers me is that are no serial # on the back of the headstock. All others I have seen have #'s the only # I found are handwritten inside the electronics cavity. Does anybody know anything about it ? I'd sure like to know. By the way the #'s are either 126 or 176 hard to tell. Thanks.

General Discussion on Washburn Electric Guitars / RS-10V

I have a RS-10V it seems like a decent guitar but the floyd rose is kinda weird . So if anyone has any opinions I would like to hear them
good or bad.

As far as cheap in price guitars I have had pretty good luck at pawn shops
. The last guitar I bought was a washburn RS-10V it had a loose ground
wire and no cover plates but I picked it up for 75 bucks. The best part
is that plays good and I latter ran into the previous owner and got the case for 25 bucks.

I have a 1978 hawk it was bought brand new by my uncle in 78 and when
he died I got it. So what I was wondering is if any were made in the
U.S. or were they all made in Japan. If they wern^t thats ok because
I like the guitar anyway.[?]
