Congrats on the new acquisition Washy Dime stealth. I'm pretty sure you scooped the red one from Ebay which was a good deal at $300. I'm looking at the pics on that guitar and it looks to have the top notch Schaller Floyd Rose where Washburn was licenced to put their own brand on. Its the same locking trem system on the USA models. Rock that axe!!!😉

It was a deal done thru PayPal where the buyer initially paid $4000 for the guitar. After he received the guitar he decided to reverse the paypal transaction for a full $4000 refund. The problem is that the guy I sold the guitar to, Erick Erickovich, took it to Russia with him. The buyer then sold my guitar for $5000 to a reputable ESP forum member EZ Guitars  in Singapore, thinking I wouldnt find out, who has confirmed that Erick Erickovich sold him the stolen guitar. PayPal's hands are tied and I'm out $4000 on the guitar.

Its all in your technique. Its more forgiving on lets say a Les Paul  non trem guitar where anchoring your picking hand on the bridge wont effect tuning. On a trem style guitar you muffel but float your picking hand to not effect tuning. Repetition and practice dude....

Signature Series / Re: Value of a Dime 2ST?

Your talking value of the more average bolt on import Washburn Dime 2 ST.  The guy on Ebay with the refinished red Washburn Dime 2ST has been auctioning it for between $300-$400 for months now without any luck. Peeps prefer the set neck construction that fetches better money. Here's the link.

Depends what your looking for exactly. If your looking USA Washburn Dimes which are the highest  qualty then your looking $2500 and up. If you want the best quality Dime imports you would choose Washburn ST Pro or the Boogiestreet and/or Funky Munky commisioned Washburn Dimes all running $1200 and up. Hit me up if you need a 2nd opinion if you find something you like.

Here's a link to a Washburn Dime 2 ST thats been refinished thats in decent shape.

If your not going to get a USA Dime 3 or USA Dime 3 ST then the next best thing are the import Washburn Dime ST Pro having high quality build and very close to USA specs. If you can locate either a Boogiestreet or Funky Munky special commisioned Washburn Dime that were built in Indonesia like the ones on Ebay you are getting an import Dime as close to USA quality as you can get at an affordable price. Good luck with your search.

Thats a pretty impossible request as there arent that many in circulation. Ive got one but I wouldnt sell it for less then 9000 Euros.  I value it at the same price as a USA Southern Cross. You can check my collection in the show me your washburn thread

Im sorry to hear about your guitar being stolen. You're doing the right thing by filing a police report and posting alerts on the guitar forums. I know in Holland there is an auction site marktplaats and guitar forum gitaarnet.nl where you should post it stolen as well.  :)

Hey everybody, its been a long time since Ive posted on here due to a major rip off on my USA Washburn Dime 3 diamond plate by ESP Forum member Erick Erickovich to the tune of $4000. He bought the guitar and decided to reverse the $4000 paypal transaction and keep the guitar for himself. 4 years later I bought the guitar back from a reputable guitar collector/enthusiast overseas who confirms Erick sold him the guitar. On the ESP Forum hes known as ESP Erick and has a tremendous guitar collection. I now understand how he funds that collection. Talking to him now he avoids any conversation so all I can do is make what he did public knowledge. If anyone needs to confirm if this is true I have all the paypal receipts and receipt me buying the guitar back from guitar collector he sold it to. BE AWARE of ESP Erick as he still is an active trader.

Here's a link to who stole my guitar:

Anyways, Ill be poking my head in here more often as a lot has changed at Washburn and we need to keep these special USA custom shop pieces flying high. Be cool talk soon! :)

Hey, I've been away for a few years after getting ripped off harshly for a USA Washburn Dime 3 diamond plate by ESP Erick in Russia to the tune of $4000. I finally got the guitar back by buying it from a reputable guitar collector/enthusiast. Beware of this guy because he reverses paypal payments and keeps the guitar.

Anyways, USA Washburn Dime 3 Southern Crosses sold for $2500 right before Darrell's passing. Amazing how they have skyrocketed over the past 10 years.
