Title: D 10M Serial 9210000017
Post by: Taciturn on July 25, 2013, 06:05:04 PM
Hi everyone,

I have had this guitar for the last 20 years or so (bought it second hand back then)
I have searched the web to find info on it but i can't find anything regarding when and where it was made.

Can anyone help me out?

cheers

Mikkel from Denmark

Welcome, D10M.  D = Dread. 10=  model number.  M= Mahogany .   A all laminate guitar. That is a long serial number, but the first 2  show it to be a 1992.  Most numbers are 8 or less.  I really like the D10 series of guitar. It is hard to find a better guitar in its price range.    Does your 92 have Grover tuners, and does it say made in Korea?     Tom.   :)    99% sure of year. I have bid on a few D10M, but they always went for more than I was willing to pay.      :)

There is no indication on the guitar, about where it was made...that was one of the things I was hopeing one of you gurus could tell me by the serial number ;-)

Grover tuners?? I'm a noob, so i don't know how i see that :-/

It should be Korea,  Does it say Grover on the keys or nobs  to tune the strings? Yes you have a 1992 made in Korea.  Tom.  :)
