Title: Replacement Tuning Key for T25
Post by: Wonka on November 14, 2013, 11:27:39 AM
The A-string tuner on my T25 broke during a show last week. It just turns with no effect on the string. I see that the website shows them as being Grovers, which look like the sealed Grover mini tuners but I can only find full sets. Does anyone know where I can buy just one? Also, they look very much like the Goto sealed bass tuners which I CAN find individually. Does anyone know if they may be interchangeable? From the pics it looks like they might be.

Thanks.

Wow, looks like the last post in this forum was over a year ago. Not very encouraging.   :-[

i don't own a Washburn Taurus T-25 5-string bass... hear they are awesome basses.  I can only speculate on whether it would work or not... You did say the tuner broke, right?  What part: the knob, the tuner gear, etc?  Maybe you can post some pictures and someone can give you more concrete advice...  yeah, i know i know...  why post pictures?!?  you may ask, it is easier for people to give answer or solution if they see the actual problem.

Use photobucket and copy then paste link to image.

Hope you were able to fix the tuner.  Man it is a long time to get reply.

Ric,
