Title: Just got a 1970-80 classical, model C150 Proto.. Help identifying needed!
Post by: breadfjord on May 25, 2019, 03:16:14 PM
Hey all,

I recently came into a vintage Washburn classical guitar from the original owner, purchased in the early 80's.  It sounds amazing, and is well aesthetically appointed as well.  I've seen some info about models C120,140, and 160 floating around, but this seems to be a prototype model labeled C150 proto.  I'll need to double check, but I believe the serial number is 86314. and there's a hand signed signature beneath the serial number.  I literally can't find a lick of info about this model, so am seeking out some guru guidance!

Thanks!
