Title: Yet another mandolin
Post by: mista_t on January 26, 2006, 08:56:10 PM
Looking for a date & rough value for a Washburn bowlback mandolin -

sticker inside says Style 2624 (I think, its hard to make out), No. 22272. Back is made of 13 rosewood bands; looks like a spruce top. No binding around fingerboard, single abalone dot inlay at frets 5, 7, 10, 12. Nothing on front of headstock, but tuning gears are covered by a metal plate on the back of the headstock which has Washburn stamped on it.

Any info much appreciated.
